WEEK 92....I am thankful for all of you

Hello
Family and Friends who are the greatest in the world! I am so thankful for all that you guys are do in your lives. I am thankful for the opportunity I have had to get to know you all and to see you all change.
i am thankful I will be able to talk to you all once again in 10 short weeks which are going by fast! I love you all and I hope you all never forget that!

Soo on to my short week that came to pass this last week. I say short because it truly flew by fast.

OK so here is the top 5 from my week!

1. First this last week I got to go back to Linares!!!! Ahhh how happy I was to go back into the little pueblo where this journey stared. It was a little weird getting off the bus again there but it did bring back a lot of good memories that make me smile.

2. i saw the GOAT himself my good friend Victor Garza from Linares which was a fun little surprise for the both of us. It was fun to see how he was doing and it was even better this time because I could truly talk to him and understand him. What a blessing that was!

3 We had a baptism of our little buddy Emiliano!! He is a great kid is 10 years old and is a example to me. He has a really cool interesting story that makes my heart hurt a little because just over 2 months ago he lost his 12 year old brother who fell into a waterfall and wasn't able to make it out. The family has battled and come to be in better spirits and the thing that has been a strong point for them is the Gospel and how we have the promises of eternal family's. I know our family's are forever if we follow our Father in Heavens plan and how grateful i am to know that!

4. I got the flu shot this week which was exciting haha. I am thankful for shots though because they keep us healthy and strong!

5. I had the opportunity to go out and have divisions with 2 sets of Elders this week which was fun! I worked with Elder Loch first who is from Guatemala and then Friday I worked with Elder Carlos who is from Peru! It was a lot of fun and I love seeing how others work and it truly makes me a better missionary learning form them!

Well I am grateful for the things that have come to pass over this last week. I am thankful for the things I was able to learn and I love my Father in Heaven so much. I am most thankful for my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ because without hiom there would truly be nothing. I love him and I know he lives.
Let him change you life and live his teaching and I promise you all will be better.
I love you all and I am so truly thankful for each and everyone of you!
Love your friend Elder Davis!!!

Week 91......IM BACK!!!

HAppy day to all the people who make me smile!!!!

Well what a lovely cold winter day it is here and I hope with all my heart that it is a great amazing day there where you are.

Ok so I am back to where about 20 months ago I arrived to my first area of my mission in my beloved Monterrey Mexico! I am not exactly back in the same area but I am super close and I will probably have the chance to go down and work in Linares in the coming weeks! So let me fill you all in quickly with the week that has gone by!

So for the first time in my mission life I was alone for like a hour and a half and that is because to get to my new area I had to travel by bus by myself. It went good though and I made it in one piece safe and sound, happy to be in my new area!

Once I got here we got straight to work with the area and then with the zone that we are working with. My new companion is Elder Santiago from the city of Mexico and he has 11 months out here on his mission. We get along really well and we have been working really hard over these past days. Well other changes is that I am once again in a small little pueblo which is like a town. Going from the main city to a town again has been calming because it is much more calm here haha. It is way colder though and here I am ON A BIKE! I am happy to be back on a bike and it has been fun getting on one again for the first time in like 13 months. I was for sure sore the first couple days and I am still getting used to it but it is coming back to me!

I dont have much time today so that was my little fill in on my life right now. There are 16 Elders in my Zone and a lot of them are new so that is exciting! Not exciting is that I am the oldest one in my zone with 21 months and that makes me a little sad haha because I don't get to be out here with all of them much longer. I do know that I will work to my very last day and how excited I am to give my all over the coming weeks.

I love my mission so much and I know with out a doubt this is the Lords work. He works miracles in our lives if we are willing to obey him and he blesses us so much.

Doing hard things and going through challenges just makes us stronger and helps us come closer to our Father In Heaven. Oh how blessed we all truly are I could never put in words. I love you all and I pray for the best to come over this new week. I also hope that we are all going to be able to learn something new from our Father IN Heaven! I love you all!
Love your Friend Elder Davis!

Week 90....... Going back to where it all began!

Family and Friends I love you all so much.

How happy I am and truly blessed to have you all in my life! I know our Father In Heaven loves us so much and I know that he is always here for us and that we truly just need to look and do our part, we will feel his love.
I hope all is well with you all and I hope that you can feel my love and support from Mexico!

So as the title says I found out this morning that I will be changing areas! It was kinda a little bit of suprise because I was training but I am so excited to return to the same Zone where I started everything! I will be in a different area but I will probably have the opportunity to do zone exchanges with other Elders and will get to go work in my very first area I had as a missionary.

I will be going to Monte Morelos as a Zone Leader with my new companion being Elder Santiago. I will be traveling tomorrow so that is all the info I have right now with what is going to be happening with my life soon.

Well it is going to be kinda sad leaving the Area of Valle Alto and the Zone of Roma tomorrow. Looking back on my time here I have be so blessed. I have also learned so much that I am so thankful for. I love my Father In Heaven so much and I know he is guiding this work in these times. I know that looking back is something that we should take time to do also sometimes so we can truly realize how blessed we are. Looking back on times gives us a new perspective of things and teaches us many things.
I invite you all to look back to see the blessings of the lord in your lives. Also we are truly so blessed to be where we are today. Look at all you have and look at the life you are living. God loves every single one of his Children and that means HE LOVES YOU.
I Love you also and I hope that you have a great week this week!
LOVE YOU Your friend Elder Davis!

Week 89.....Always Smile!

Family and Friends!!!! Happy MONDAYYYYYYYY Woooooo!!!! Well I love you all and I hope your Monday and your week is the best week ever!

I Know you are all so special and you all are worth more then you could ever imagine. Keep going and never give up....we go through hard things to become who our Savior and Father In Heaven need us to become. I bear you my testimony with all my heart about that that It is all part of a perfect plan that our Loving Father In Heaven Created for us. We are truly so blessed to be here where we are today. It is truly a testimony to me what we have and all the things that we can see.

How happy I am to be able to share a message about How Much God loves us everyday to my lost brothers and Sisters here. I have been the one truly blessed by this amazing time here!

Ok so fastly this week we focused in and worked a lot with service. I know service is something that we can all do and is something that truly shows Christ like love. So everyday we tried our hardest to do something for someone to lighten their mood and to help them feel a little less weight on there shoulders. It payed off for us as for almost every day this week we had the blessing of serving someone. One day we put some chairs together and another we prepared some flowers for someone who was going to sell them and it was so much fun!
We also saw the blessing of service from other people in our lives as this last week we where In line to pay for food a member who was there told us that they were going to buy all of our food for the week and it made me speechless. It also brought me to tears a little bit as I truly felt the blessings of our Savior and the love of him through this member. The same Member also bought us a bunch of candy for Halloween haha and it was amazing!

I know the Lord puts us where we need to be and I know we just need to always trust him. I know as we are doing all we can to become like him and do all we can to complete with his commandments he blesses us in so many ways.
I love you all and hope you have a amazing happy week!
 Love you friend Elder Davis!
