Week 98......If you only had 1 shot, 1 Chance, 1 month left ,what would you do?

So here we are once again In a New Year full of new things to come! I hope you all had a great holiday season and for those who started school once again today, I hope you all kill it this year and that you all enjoy it!

The New year is a happy time so all you need to remember is to be happy and smile as much as possible that is my challenge to you all for this week just to be happy and take on whatever comes your way!

This week was another great week here In Monte Morelos the greatest Pueblo (People) in the world! We had lots of fun and lots of things to do which meant we ended up traveling a bit. I think all together the time I was on a bus this week was about 6 hours through out a couple days. That is because we had Liderazgo (Leadership) this week In Monterrey and also had the chance to do Intercambios (exchanges) with Allende. The other days this week where full of ups and downs but many lessons for us as a zone and as missionaries here In Montemorelos.

We did see the fruits of the work we did as this coming Sunday our friend Marcela will be getting baptized! I am super excited for that and her story is awesome and it all started by us just doing service washing her car over a month ago! We also have seen other friends here grow through out the weeks and are hoping that they also may choose to come unto to Christ a little more in the coming weeks. I also had the opportunity to do a Baptism Interview which was another amazing experience and the ones I will never forget. His name is Jesus and will be getting baptized this coming Sunday as well!

We are seeing the Lords hand in the work here and also through out the Zone as we are seeing more and more people wanting to learn about our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.
I love being a Missionary and there is nothing that can beat this time I have had out here and the time I have left.

Coming this week we will also be able to go to Monterrey once again but this time to have our Zone Conference. This means that this Friday I will go to my very last Zone Conference of my mission here in Monterrey. I will also get to share my "Final Testimony" at the end to everyone which is crazy to think about, that I am already onto my last transfer.

It has gone by so fast but there is still work to do so I must Perseverar hasta el fin (Persevere to the end)!

I love everything that has happened and I am excited to see what will come to pass over this last Month! It truly has been the best 2 years of my life and I know God has blessed my life so much. I know as we do the Lords will, he will guide us and help us become who he needs us to be!
I love you all! Have a great week!
With Love your Friend Elder Davis!

Week 97.......The blessed year of 2018!

Happy New Year my dear and beloved family and friends!

I hope this email finds all of you happy and ready to take on another opportunity of a great new year.

I am excited to see what is to come my way in 2019 and I hope that I can continue to be a servant for my Savior and Redeemer and my Father In Heaven. I also hope that you all can enjoy the best year of your lives and that all will be well!
Remember to be safe today and always remember who you guys are as sons and daughter of God!

Well looking back today on the week that has passed I also look back on the year that is coming to a sweet end. I realize that this year... the year of 2018 was the greatest, happiest, hardest, craziest year of my life and I was blessed every single second of it. 2018 will be for now the only full year that I will be able to say that I was a Missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints which is with out a doubt in my mind and heart is the True Church of Jesus Christ. I have learned so much from this year and I will forever be blessed for the privilege I had to be a Missionary.
I also have come to grow closer to my Father In Heaven this last year more then ever before and I pray that I will continue to grow in the coming year of 2019. I am excited to see you all in 2019 and to be able to learn from you all with all that happened in your lives in 2018.

I love Being a missionary and there is nothing greater then this Service! I also hope that we all can set goals to help us become more like our Savior and also to help those in need. Also to set goals to resolve conflicts or doubts that we have in our lives.

I love you all and I know you all are so amazing! You all can do anything you set your heart on this coming year. May this year bring you joy and éxito (Success) is my wish for you all!
Have an amazing start to a new year and be safe!
Love your Friend Elder Davis!

Week 96............!Marry CHRISTmas!

So here we are on this very Special day!
The day that we enjoy time with Family and friends and also a day filled with love and Presents haha!
The most important thing to remember is our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I love him and I know he loves you all and I pray and hope that on this special day you can feel all his love because we are never alone.

This week was a great week! We had changes and welcomed new missionaries into the Zona, two of which are brand new Missionaries from the States which is awesome! I love talking with the new Missionaries and they are such big example to me because of the Sacrifices they are doing to be here. I love them all and I know god has placed them in my life to teach me something.
This week we also had our Devotional with Presidente which went Great. It was a 2 hour Devotional where we sang Christmas Hymns and listened to Presidente and His wife talk. We also watched some videos and just had a great time. Also at the end they gave us a slice of home made Apple Pie which made me happy and was Delicious!
The rest of the week was filled with little Christmas Miracles as we found a couple new families and new people to teach so we will see how they continue to progress in the coming weeks!

I love my Savior and I know he lives. I know we all are not perfect but with and through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can become better people and better children of our Father that is in Heaven. I know this experience here In Mexico has changed my life forever and I know that I am a new Person. I am a better person then I was before I left and I pray to never go back to who I was before.

We always need the Saviors help and can not do this thing called life without him. He as well as his teachings bring true and everlasting joy. I am so blessed to be able to be here In Mexico on this Christmas Day and I am so blessed to have more time as a Missionary.
I love you All and I hope all your Dreams come true this Christmas and during the coming new year.
LES AMO!!!
Love Your Friend Elder Davis!

Week 95......On to the Final Change..

Family and friends!!!!!!!!!
You are all amazing and special never ever forget that!!! Also never every forget to let your light shine to help and bless all those around you. Never ever forget that you are all Sons and Daughter of a Father In Heaven who loves you so much!

So this week was fun and lots of things happened and lets see if I remember what happened. Also I have 7 weeks left out here In the Place which has stole my heart so its time to give it our all!

So first off I am going to be staying here in Monte Morelos for my last change and for the next 7 weeks. I will have the same Companion Elder Santiago and it is going to be a blast!
We have lots of work to do and it looks like this last change will be awesome! So besides changes that we are having this coming week with people coming and going tomorrow, we are going to have our Christmas Party for our Rama (Branch) Friday so we are just trying to invite everyone we can to that.
We are also going to have a Christmas Devotional with Presidente this coming Friday which will also be fun. It is the time of the season to celebrate but always remember why we Celebrate!

Other things that happened this last week is that I got to work again with other Elders in Intercambios (exchanges) and learn from them! I worked with a good friend Elder Barrientos who is from The City of Mexico and then also Elder Abreu who is from the Dominican Republic (Shout out to Elder Smith!).
I have really enjoyed the opportunity to work with so many Elders this change and this coming change it will be a blast to work once again with the brand new Elders. We also had Interviews with Presidente Maucotel this last week which went great and then had a Elders Quorum activity here which went good!

I love my Mission so much and It has blessed my life in so many ways! I can never ever repay the blessings I have received here and I know my Savior lives and loves us all. I hope you all have an amazing Week and that it all turns out great for the coming holidays.
Have yourselves a early Merry Christmas and let us all remember how much The Savior of the World has done for each and everyone of us.
Because of him we will live forever, Because of him we can become families forever. Because of him we can always be happy and always feel the love of our Father In Heaven. Because of him we truly have everything.
I love you alll!!!!
Have a great Week!
Love your friend Elder Davis!!!
